WE ARE OCEAN_Blaupause Hamburg

WE ARE OCEAN_Blaupausen continued its journey from Berlin to Hamburg, where artist Till Krause organized a workshop and excursion program for the art profile 12b class at the Ida Ehre School in Hamburg around the Elbe waters. These students outstandingly engaged with the artist and the ideas of water protection, they created their own solutions, water filters for example, disguised as art works.

The results of the workshops were then  presented to the public at Kunsthaus Hamburg. After an introduction to all art works created by the students, we had an animated fishbowl discussion with Anne-Marie Melster and Julia Moritz (curator WE ARE OCEAN_Blaupausen), Till Krause (artist), natural scientist Dr. Said Yasseri, and the Art Profile 12b class of the Ida Ehre School with Lana Akter, Maria Ataman, Ava Bertram, Çan Celik, Minna Husen, Lena Krispin, Tristan Künzel, Charlotte Lübbers, Emmi Oettinger, Mia Peschel, Tilda Peters, Melodi Roshan Zaer, Lilian Rust, Seli Tadesse, Henriette Wagner, Daniel Wolff (teacher), Mia Wolff, and Lara Wunderwaldt.

The project has been funded by the Norddeutsche Umwelt- und Entwicklungsstiftung and the Liebelt Stiftung, Hamburg. We are grateful for their trust and support! And we give thanks to the Kunsthaus Hamburg as our art space partner and the Ida-Ehre-Schule for opening their school to us!
