Raven Hoflund is from the Caribbean archipelago of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She is the founding director of the newly launched NGO Ripples to Waves, a non-profit committed to ocean conservation through a blend of science, experience-based learning, and art.
Raven has worked in sea turtle conservation for over 12 years and serves as the Country Coordinator of the Wider Caribbean Sea Turtle Conservation Network (WIDECAST). She has also joined the Caribbean Cetacean Society (CCS) in marine mammal trainings, scientific expeditions, and educational projects—most notably Sea Camps for the children of St. Vincent and the Grenadines—and is the Regional Coordinator for the Southern OECS islands.
