Corinne Erni is a curator, catalyst, and cultural strategist who has spearheaded and branded interdisciplinary art programs. From 2010 to 2015, she built up the New Museum’s IDEAS CITY, a biennial arts festival that explores the future of cities with arts and culture as a driving force. She is the Curator for Special Projects at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, USA.
As co-founder of ARTPORT_making waves, she co-curated biennial competitions of short art videos about global warming, Cool Stories for When the Planet Gets Hot, and traveling exhibitions such as (Re-) Cycles of Paradise, which explored the interconnectedness of gender and climate change and was first shown at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in 2009.
