More InformationAnne-Marie Melster, Director of ARTPORT_making waves was invited on January 29, 2020, to the Parliamentary Advisory Council on Sustainable Development of the German Bundestag in Berlin to speak about the project ARTPORT_WE ARE OCEAN in the framework of Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development. Anne-Marie Melster underlined the importance of education, particularly informal education, in the context of ocean literacy, climate and ocean action in order to protect the ocean. She described the several steps of the project and highlighted the important role of governments to support informal interdisciplinary education.

Unsere Direktorin Anne-Marie Melster wurde am 29. Januar 2020 in den Parlamentarischen Beirat für Nachhaltige Entwicklung des Deutschen Bundestages in Berlin eingeladen, um über das Projekt ARTPORT_WE ARE OCEAN im Rahmen des lebenslangen Lernens für nachhaltige Entwicklung zu sprechen. Anne-Marie Melster unterstrich die Bedeutung der Bildung, insbesondere der informellen Bildung, im Zusammenhang mit der Alphabetisierung der Ozeane, dem Klima und den Maßnahmen des Ozeans zum Schutz des Ozeans. Sie beschrieb die verschiedenen Schritte des Projekts und hob die wichtige Rolle der Regierungen bei der Unterstützung der informellen interdisziplinären Bildung hervor.
